Tech Tips - Steps to clean Antivirus System Pro

The following is a the best way to clean Antivirus System Pro, with exception of formatting your hard drive.  

  1. Download the following utility SmitfraudFix.exe and process.exe (into the same folder) http://www.ani-tech.com/downloads/VirusCleaner.zip

  1. Reboot PC and start SmitfraudFix.exe immediately after starting.
  2. If the virus will not let you start it reboot and startup in Safe Mode. (You will more than likely have to do this however I can’t completely confirm).

 

Note: I did try malwarebytes and other suggested methods to no avail. SmitfraudFix.exe was the only thing I found to clean this annoying virus.
